Home sweet home.

Christmas time in my town.  I was hoping that snow will last until Christmas... Happy childish feeling... Unfortunately it melted. Maybe a miracle will happen? Snow flakes, will you come? Fall softly on my face? Make my Christmas bright and white? Come, come - I'm calling. Change this world, make it white like fairy tale. Bring all the memories, be like a Madeleine cake to me.

And that's how it was a week ago!!!

I prefer ugliness

I prefer ugliness

Words

Last time I joined a photo club and we focused on  document photography. Although it is not my favourite type of photography, I gave it a go. Below you can see the effect of my work.

I went to a small butcher's shop. Very interesting place and documented a process of the meat making. The most of all I liked smoking. Buchers like Hephaestus getting in to the heart of the earth. Impressive. We dont even think of it how simple, everyday things are made. We just use it, eat it .. That's all.

Places like the bucher's shop are like small worlds. People do the secret rituals to make the things happen.

It's good to look in a different way on all that surround us. World should never be the same, cos it can be boring. Taking different point of view coud be like a mirracle, that changes the world in your eyes.

To Autumn

To Autumn
by John Keats

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness,
Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun;
Conspiring with him how to load and bless
With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eves run;
To bend with apples the moss'd cottage-trees,
And fill all fruit with ripeness to the core;
To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells
With a sweet kernel; to set budding more,
And still more, later flowers for the bees,
Until they think warm days will never cease,
For summer has o'er-brimm'd their clammy cells.

Who hath not seen thee oft amid thy store?
Sometimes whoever seeks abroad may find
Thee sitting careless on a granary floor,
Thy hair soft-lifted by the winnowing wind;
Or on a half-reap'd furrow sound asleep,
Drows'd with the fume of poppies, while thy hook
Spares the next swath and all its twined flowers:
And sometimes like a gleaner thou dost keep
Steady thy laden head across a brook;
Or by a cyder-press, with patient look,
Thou watchest the last oozings hours by hours.

Where are the songs of spring? Ay, Where are they?
Think not of them, thou hast thy music too,—
While barred clouds bloomthe soft-dying day,
And touch the stubble-plains with rosy hue;
Then in a wailful choir the small gnats mourn
Among the river sallows, borne aloft
Or sinking as the light wind lives or dies;
And full-grown lambs loud bleat from hilly bourn;
Hedge-crickets sing; and now with treble soft
The red-breast whistles from a garden-croft;
And gathering swallows twitter in the skies.

Last Days of Summer

Summer goes away quietly
Like a young lover at dawn
Leaving behind dewy smell
Of a morning mist
Never enough

This is an outcome of my last trip to the fantastic sunflower field, apparently from the fact that I was almost eaten alive by the mosquitoes it was all gorgeous.
Always feel sorry when summer comes to its end and try to still every moment of its existence.
I must thank Robert for his help with the ladder, this pic would never happen without it :-)

SUMMER

Summer, Summer, Summer.
Could it last forever?
Warm evenings.
Soft clouds.
Rain.

Spring Walk

I love Spring. Evening sky is so beautiful. All the flowers gorgeous and gentle. So oniric. You can feel how  quickly it will all vanish and only what will be left is a memory.

New Session

I'm a bit lazy lately with my blog. I made a session with my friend, but I don't have too much time to post-process the pictures. The one below is just the preview of what was going on there.

I'm really proud of the black dress on this pic, it's all made of black plastic foil. It took me some time to make it.
We had a lot of fun with this session. Patrycja was a great model and Igor was very helpful with lights and other things.
Hope soon I'll be able to put some more photos.

:-)

Here is another one.

The Queen of the Night

And another one. You can see the make up design. I used old lace to make it. Patrycja looks fab.

I also love her full volume hairdo. I used some hair extensions for the nicer bigger effect.

World in Pictures

Where the words loose their meanings, pictures start to be more meaningful.
